You are onto Wyoming’s best-kept secret. The stunning, gorgeous, breathtaking Beartooth Highway. Climbing to 10,947 feet in the Abaroska range, the scenery is jaw-dropping. And, oh, there’s only one way to drive it. Go the day it opens, which is typically the first day of the Memorial Day weekend. You will drive through tunnels of snow. Your horizon will the a line of jagged, snowcapped peaks. You will experience the sky-high Beartooth plateau covered in ice and snow. You will gasp as you rise higher and higher and higher. This is your Wyoming secret.
